“Stop holding your truth; speak your truth. Be yourself. It’s the healthiest way to be.” – Tiffany Haddish

Helloooo - How are ya? Getting some vitamin D? It’s golf season and we couldn’t be happier. We’ve now been to 5 Fore the Ladies Clinics in 2021 and just seeing you all has been amazing. I think everyone is ready for safe and outdoor events, and the smiles are hard to miss. There’s a lot going on at Fore the Ladies and you’re in the right place to hear about it all!

I hope you’ll join us for our second lesson in the Good Moves Only fitness series with Samantha Rothberg. Scroll to bottom of this newsletter for more info.

Now don’t forget to sign up for the Fore the Ladies Tee Sheet, where you can women in your area to play golf, hit the driving range or just grab a drink with! Tee it up, take some pics, tag @foretheladies on insta.

We hope you enjoy this month’s “finds.” I personally think they’re fabulous for yourself, mom (Mother’s Day is coming in hot!) and more. If there’s something you aren’t seeing in the newsletter and want more of it, let us know! Email Abby at abby@foretheladies.net.

supporting

It’s been a few weeks since some of the Warriors players hopped off the plane donning these stunning LPGA Hoodies for Golf. This was brainchild of Michelle Wie West, so you know it’s a good piece, and proceeds from your purchase will go between the LPGA Foundation - Renee Powell Fund and The Clearview Legacy Foundation. Who doesn’t need more tie dye in their life?! -abby

playing

I finally got to take the new Abendroth Ruth pants out for a spin on the golf course and I officially give them two thumbs up. The fabric is super soft but not too heavy, and I love the cropped length. They are perfect for your spring and fall rounds when it's warm one minute and then cold the next! -sara

wearing

Oh hey, it me! I wore this comfy Renwick Polo Dress from brunch to our DC Clinic. It is the softest golf piece in my closet and I would totally buy it in every color. Renwick was started by sisters Pippa and Sarah after 16 years in the corporate retail industry and started with their perfect polo. Use promo code LADIES20 for 20% off your purchase (promo ends by May 17, 2021). -abby

Ladies of Golf: Rachel Dickson, Artist

Abby welcomes Rachel Dickson, an Austin-based artist to the Fore the Ladies podcast for its next Ladies of Golf feature. Rachel shares why she left her role in the sports industry to pursue art as a career and her foray into the golf world as both an artist and a new golfer. We hope you enjoy the conversation brought to you by the USGA!

drinking

ICYMI (is that still a thing?), we will have Maker Wine at our California and Oregon clinics! Maker is rattling the status quo and putting premium wine in a can. They support independent creators and small wineries to bring us the swing juice we want/need every round. Promo code FORETHELADIES will get you 10% off your first purchase. Give it a try and cheers!

wearing

I'm not really a makeup person, but I will usually put on some mascara in the morning. And this is hands down my favorite mascara. It doesn't get clump-y, it stays on all day long, and it won't break the bank. -sara

growing

I am more of a makeup person and definitely agree with Sara on Glossier! To prep my lashes, I put this GrandeLASH-MD serum on my lash line every night and my lashes have really grown! If I’m going au naturale, I like to have at least a good pop with my lashes and this helps. -abby

Fore the Ladies and Samantha Rothberg Fitness are joining forces to bring you Good Moves Only, a monthly fitness series! We'll be tackling different topics every month to empower you to reach your goals on and off the golf course, as well as debunk some fitness myths. On May 5, we’re covering Strength, Mobility, and Flexibility: Which do I need and why?
