fore the ladies finds

volume 3, issue 7

Hi!

I’m currently recovering from such a stunning weekend in Charleston for my bachelorette party! It was so heartwarming to bring groups of friends together from different parts of my life and this may be shocking to some, but we did not play golf! You know what kept us going all weekend long? The FTL Summer Spotify Playlist. So many bops! Download it here. You’re welcome ;)

We’re just over a week away from our FTL Intro-to-Golf Takeover with Foray Golf at select Five Iron Golf locations nationwide! Some locations only have a few spots left, so be sure to book yours today (link to all locations). We’re also so excited to share that Foray will be hosting SAMPLE SALES at the Chicago and NYC events! If you can’t join us for a lesson session, still feel free to pop by, say hey and shop.

Let’s get into this month’s finds, brought to you by (left to right) Kristen, Me, Sara and Brooke!

-abby, FTL President and Founder

july finds

skirting

While this is a golf newsletter, I can't help recommending a tennis skirt when it's this cute. I love the peekaboo gingham shorts! -sara

packing

This beach bag is a great addition to your summer supplies. It's designed to stay upright and with a bottom that won't leak, so you won't bring home sand. I saw many fun colors during a recent beach vacation! -kristen

wearing

What’s the golf hat of the summer? The bucket hat and we have the perfect one for ya! We also heard your requests for a junior/kids cap and added that to the FTL x Imperial Collection, too!

cooling

Great for long walks during hot, humid days. It's been designed to regulate heart rate and cool down your head, which makes it perfect for a walking round. -brooke

This week is The Open Championship (they don’t love it when we call it the British Open, but c’est la vie) and the male professional golfers are taking on the Old Course for the 150th edition of the major. I’m starting to consume all the content for FTL’s 2023 Scotland Golf Getaway and the Old Course is on our itinerary and first on my playlist is No Laying’s Up Tourist Sauce: The Old Course at St. Andrews. WATCH

The inaugural U.S. Adaptive Open Championship begins next week and will showcase the world’s best golfers with disabilities on Pinehurst Resort & Country Club’s Course No. 6. With a new championship comes new trophies and these were designed by Lauren Thomas-Cross, who has experience with a disability herself. She has Usher syndrome, a rare genetic disease that affects both hearing and vision. WATCH

wearing

I bought this Lilly Pulitzer top at the Curtis Cup at Merion in Philadelphia and have received so many compliments since wearing it. I love the contrasting collar, and it may be hard to tell here, but the buttons are golf balls! The fabric is a nice mix of performance and pique, which makes it fitted and is TTS. -abby

protecting

I love this straw hat for the beach or golf-spectating or gardening. -sara

stirring

The perfect outfit for hot days. I recently purchased this adidas golf dress and it's currently on sale! Great pockets and super light in the heat. -kristen

carrying

The perfect travel sized golf kit. Great to keep in your suitcase for those trips when you might be renting or borrowing clubs and just need to bring along the basics. -brooke
