“This is like total GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) status to me. To win three times in a season, be world No. 1, going for gold.” -Jessica Korda about her sister Nelly winning gold at the Olympics

Hi there!

How is it already August? Have I played enough golf this season? The answer to me is most likely … no, but there’s still time to get out there! If you are looking for women to tee it up with near you, be sure to check out our Tee Sheet directory. Also, don’t be shy about reaching out to someone new on the Tee Sheet and setting up a foursome!

Late July and early August gave us some amazing competitive golf, too. Annika Sorenstam won the U.S. Senior Women’s Open, which gives her an exemption into the U.S. Women’s Open at Pine Needles (a championship she won at that SAME COURSE in 1996). Nelly Korda has had an epic run, just winning Gold at the Olympics and maintaining her No. 1 spot in the world. Lydia Ko won ANOTHER medal at the Olympics and Minjee Lee of Australia finally won her first major at the Evian Championship. It’s been a season to remember.

And of course, here is my monthly reminder about Hearts & Darts, our second FTL Golf Getaway happening this November at Streamsong Resort. This two-night, three-day event is going to be epic, full of golf and off-course activities, and I can’t wait to see familiar faces while meeting some new ones. Oh yeah, and play Streamsong Red and Black, too. We’re about halfway full, so if you’re at all interested, I’d highly recommend you securing your spot! Find all the details HERE.

If you’re going to be at the Solheim Cup, email Abby as she would love to see you either at Inverness or a little BBQ!

wearing

I saw a friend wearing this skirt and was shocked to learn she found it on Amazon. It is super cute and breezy - perfect for late summer golf. Needless to say I ordered one immediately and I know some other newsletter contributors followed suit! -sara (abby second’s this)

wearing

Made for yoga but amazing for everyday (and golf)! Made in France, the quality of these hair clips is amazing. Each is hand painted so a truly special accessory! -kristen

practicing

When I actually give myself a few minutes to practice putting before a round, I tend to be rewarded. This drill forces you to square the putter face as you make impact with the golf ball. I’ve noticed a difference and maybe you will, too! Tiger has been known to do this drill and he’s known to be pretty good at golf. -abby

hydrating

It is #sweatyszn for me, and I love these Nuun tablets to help keep me hydrated. They're easy to throw in your golf bag, not messy like a powder, and have lots of fun flavors. Ginger Lemonade is my fave, it's not too sweet and it has a little a caffeine to keep a pep in your step. -sara

From playing on the LPGA Tour to working for Michelle Wie, leading business development at Topgolf to graduating from Wharton School of Business to founding Sportsbox AI and more. What an incredible journey its been for our next Ladies of Golf feature, Jeehae Lee.

wearing

I saw my friend Veronica wearing this piece from Athleta and she looked stunning so I had to give it a try. I love mock collar, how it’s not baggy, the zipper v-neck and variety of colors it comes in: White, black, violet and aqua. -abby

drinking

The. Most. Refreshing. Post round (or anytime) summer drink. 99 calories and zero sugar (without an aspartame-y taste). Try it- trust me!!! -kristen

wearing

I have been rocking the tube-sock/calf-length sock life this summer and loving it. When certain shoes rub against my ankles on the course or I know the grass will be dewy, I pull out the tube socks. These ones from Bombas are sold as tennis socks (lol) and prevent moisture. -abby

packing

I used to consider shoe bags unnecessary, but this one from Hudson settler has great pockets and doesn't break the bank. I love it so much that it I use it to pack shoes for general travel or sneakers for a workout. -kristen
