Hi all!
It's a very busy week here at Fore the Ladies with 24 of us heading to Bandon Dunes for our second Golf Getaway of the season, plus 7 golf clinics and meetups this weekend. It's officially our time to shine; we hope you'll join us at an event this season and invite your friends!
I was incredibly honored to be featured in Imperial's "Create" series, which you can check out here. The incredibly talented team of Jason Jahnke, Kyle Walton and Mark Langford have been to FTL events before producing this piece and it shows through as they beautifully told our organization's story. I'm so grateful to be included alongside these other "creators" in golf!
We'll keep it short this month - but play well out there, find your foursome on the FTL Geneva App and enjoy the finds from me, Kristen and Sara!

Upcoming Events
Our events through May our currently sold out (y'all are so ready for golf season!), but please feel free to sign up for a waitlist and register for our upcoming events here. We often pull from our waitlist when participants can no longer attend, so don't be shy and sign up.
Meanwhile, we have half of our spots left for Big Cedar Lodge. Learn more about our golf getaways here.
All are welcome to FTL events.

I need this pillow and mantra in my life.

These Ecco golf shoes are coming with me to Bandon Dunes. The golf course print is darling and Lydia Ko wears these shoes, so I wear these shoes.
Sara

Just when you think you have enough golf skirts... you manage to find another one!

I'm eyeing Lululemon's new tennis line for golf fits - this terrycloth long sleeve is cute!
Kristen

A great golf short at a great price. Stretch fabric and beautiful tulip pleating add a little something special.

A very on trend floral print for spring. I love this dress for an easy on and off the course option! A splurge but worth it with cost per wear.

Whether you’re at the gym or on the course, the RAMP protocol (Raise, Activate, Mobilize, Potentiate) is a great way to prepare your body for performance. When you’re short on time, space, or equipment, here are four exercises you can use to warm up quickly and effectively before heading out for your round.
1. 3-Way Lunges (Forward, Side, Reverse)-Raise
How to Do It: Perform a forward lunge, return to center, lunge to the side, then step back into a reverse lunge. Repeat on the other leg.
Sets/Reps: 1 set of 3 each direction.
2. Kickstand Hinge to Rotation with Club-Activate
How to Do It: Hold a club across your chest with hands crossed to opposite shoulders. Stand in a staggered stance (one foot back on toes), hinge at the hips, and rotate your upper body both directions while keeping hips square.
Sets/Reps: 1 set of 5 each side.
3. A-Frame Stretch-Mobilize
How to Do It: Stand with feet hip-width apart. Place one elbow inside your knee on the same side, and your opposite fist inside the other knee for stability. Reach your free arm down, then rotate it up toward the ceiling, focusing on thoracic rotation.
Sets/Reps: 1 set of 5 each side.
4. Squat Jumps-Potentiate
How to Do It: Perform explosive squat jumps, aiming for maximum height with soft, controlled landings. This is the closest expression of power you’ll get until you start hitting the ball.
Sets/Reps: 2 sets of 10.
Take just 10 minutes to warm up effectively for your next round! You don’t have to overthink it, but you’ll certainly feel better when you begin to move! Please let me know if you have any questions or are looking for an even more specific warm up. As long as you get the body moving, you’re doing the right thing!
