Fore the Ladies Finds: July 2025

Hi all!
Â
I write this as I sit tucked into a seat on a plane ride home from a bucket list golf trip. Lips chapped. Wind blown hair. Happy gal. I met my three travel buddies through golf adventures and Fore the Ladies, and it was such a treat to join them.
Â
While I was scrolling during my flight delay on Friday, I noticed another group of FTL-ers playing in a member-guest and immediately messaged them. They said they were reminiscing on how they all met through Fore the Ladies and my heart soared. Among the things I love about FTL is when I see people who met through our events and then book their own adventures. It's the mission in action and you're all part of making that happen.
Â
I'm so excited for 47 golfers to meet this weekend at The Lily at Pinehurst Resort and can't wait to see little groups create their own golf trip someday. So find your foursome (maybe on the FTL Geneva App?!), book the trip and enjoy the finds!

Big Cedar Lodge Golf Getaway - 3 spots left!
This weekend we're hosting our 5th (!!) annual The Lily Golf Getaway to Pinehurst Resort, but the fun won't end this summer. We're heading to Big Cedar Lodge this fall! The resort just opened Cliffhangers, a new 18-hole par-3 course, this July, and it was recently named the #1 Golf Resort in America by USA Today!! Join us this October - and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Â
Spark Golf Leagues!
The Spark Golf season is underway and you can join a league anytime for free! All you do is pay as you play and it's incredibly casual. We have FTL specific leagues at the following locations, so sign up on your own or with friends!
But if you aren't in those locations, that's ok! We recommend finding a foursome either of your own or through the FTL Geneva App and following these instructions. Play well!
Â
All are welcome to FTL events.

Tunes on the course pairs nicely with a summer emergency nine! I have a JBL speaker that's light weight that I clip on to my golf bag! - chelsea

I keep an AirTag in my golf bag, and it's an extra layer of tracking that I obsess with when I travel with my clubs! -chelsea

We’re deep in the dog days of summer, and if you’re spending long hours outside (maybe even playing 36), proper hydration becomes paramount. The moment your sweat rate outpaces your fluid intake, dehydration starts to set in.Water makes up most of your body and is integral to the systems that regulate body temperature, maintain blood pressure, and keep you moving efficiently. Once you’re dehydrated, your heart rate climbs and your effort feels harder than it should while your performance decreases.
Increasing electrolytes can help with this issue. Sodium is especially important, followed by chloride, potassium, and magnesium. While sodium gets a bad rap, it actually helps your body retain the water you’re drinking and supports proper muscle contraction. If you’re only drinking plain water, you might be diluting your sodium levels, which could be dangerous.
One easy fix is to salt your food a little more than usual and use an electrolyte or sports drink before, during, and after your rounds. It’s a small shift that can make a big difference in your performance and recovery.
